My colleague and friend Erin McKean, editor in chief of American Dictionaries for Oxford University Press, gave a great speech at the PopTech conference. It's funny and charming. See the video.
It’s interesting, Erin McKean railing against copyright interfering with her work compiling dictionaries, when I can’t even look up a word on the OED’s web site without a $300/year subscription.
Otherwise witty talk, though.
