Wow.. Computer science still seems like a good way to make a living. I was a civil engineer and switched (via graduate studies). Computer jobs are much harder to find but they still are some out there especially in BioInformatics. Also with Java and web programing are fun. Some students are always looking for degrees that will get them jobs easily out of school.
