Citations: 1985 Boyd Burchard Seattle Times (June 22) p. C1: Few of the orginal Mustang spinner hub caps are available, but Lincoln has some used ones priced at $75. 2004 Denny Lee New York Times (Apr. 23) “The Dub Generation: Gearheads Go Hip-Hop”: It’s Dub, a niche car magazine with a tiny paid circulation that has nevertheless become the bible of the urban automotive subculture devoted to 20-inch-plus spinners—the outrageously flashy oversize wheels that pop up in nearly every MTV rap video—and the hip-hop attitude they connote.
2.) “Spinner” (Adjective - Slang) Used among some men to describe an extremely petite young woman, usually with a lot of sex appeal – the term is thought to reference the small stature and weight of the woman; (IE she is so petite she could be spun around while riding the man during sex).
