informationalization

n. the computerization of business, industry, and military. Subjects: , , ,
Editorial Note: This word appears to be most common in East Asian countries where English is a language of business but not of the home. Etymological Note: Probably directly related to the term informatics, the science of gathering, storing, organizing, and using information.
