Quotation: Thoreau, a lover of words, might have been amused by a new expression, “stuffocate,” that describes the modern American dilemma of being blanketed by too much stuff. The coinage gained currency a couple of years ago during a “Do Not Stuffocate” campaign launched by Seeds of Simplicity, a pro-simplicity organization that’s since become Simple Living America.
